What is EXTAM about?

‘EXPLORING THE AFRICAN MOTIF’ IS A FREE STORYTELLIING WORKSHOP THAT HAS BEEN ON SINCE 2021, WHERE WE TEACH STORYTELLERS THE INTRICACIES OF STORYTELLING ALONGSIDE KEY TOP OF THE GAME INDUSTRY PEERS. IT COVERS BOTH BEGINNER CLASSES FOR NEWBIE STORYTELLERS HOPING TO HONE THEIR GIFTS AND MASTERCLASSES FOR INTERMEDIATE - EXPERIENCED STORYTELLERS HOPING TO TELL BETTER STORIES THAT TRANSCEND GLOBALLY. .

THIS ENDEAVOUR, BORN FROM MY SHARED PASSION FOR PRESERVING AND CELEBRATING THE RICH TAPESTRY OF AFRICAN NARRATIVES, IS AIMED AT NURTURING THE ART OF STORYTELLING AMONG DIVERSE COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE CONTINENT. MY GOAL IS ALSO TO EMPOWER LOCAL WRITERS AND STORYTELLERS, PROVIDING THEM WITH INVALUABLE SKILLS, INSIGHTS, AND CROSS-CULTURAL EXPERIENCES IN THE ART OF STORYTELLING.

To enhance the storytelling capabilities of writers and storytellers in Nigeria by offering a comprehensive workshop, facilitated by experienced Nigerian storytellers with multiple Chart-topping projects across platforms like Africa Magic, Showmax, Netflix and Amazon Prime
